I loved this show as a kid and paid special attention to the Pink Ranger (see sig)
but looking back it wasn't the most politically correct show
Zack, an African American, was the Black Ranger
Kimberty, a female, was the Pink Ranger
Billy, a boy, was the Blue Ranger
Jason, a Native American, was the Red Ranger
Trini, a Vietnamese woman, was the Yellow Ranger
sadly Thuy Trang, who played the Yellow Ranger, passed away in a car accident

Jason was Native American?

Yeah he didn't seem very Native Americany.
It was kinda funny that the Black Ranger's weapon was an axe that was also a gun.

I think Tommy was the one who had a bit of Native American in him. He even went back in time to his Native American roots when he and the other Rangers were kids in search of the Zeo crystals, as I recall.
And the original Black Ranger was all sorts of awesomeness. I even liked his Zord, and recall it having some cool ice-based power in one of the episodes that centered around Zack trying to get with some girl.

I was all about the Green Ranger from the get go. Even when he was a bad guy, with that cool Mr T. Gold plated thing on his neckline.

Same here.
But then, who didn't? The Green Ranger seemed massively popular amongst boys back in the day. And to this day his costume and Zord are some of the coolest ever used, in my opinion.

I liked how Tommy's dragger was also used was a musical instrument to summon Dragonzord

I still listen to the Green Ranger theme song on Youtube from time to time. Sweet theme, in my opinion.

They've got all of the Power Ranger intros. Personally, I like the original one, the Zeo one, and the Dino Thunder one most.

when I was looking at the intros it looked like I stopped watching after Season 2
that or season 3 was so bad I repressed it

I really liked the original 3 seasons of the show, and even liked the Zeo and In Space seasons as well (Turbo bored me, though). But once they started making each season a stand-alone series with new teams and whatnot, I stopped watching. It just stopped feeling special or cool at that point.

I enjoyed the hell out of that show, thought the Green Ranger was the coolest (green's always been my favorite color) and at the time I thought Amy Jo Johnson was the hottest woman EVER. She still ranks pretty high, now. I bought MMPR: The Movie at my local Big Lots for 3 bucks a few weeks back. Cheesy, but a hell of a lot of fun. I've also occasionally watched later episodes on Fox/ABC Family, and grew sorta fond of the Yellow Ranger from PR: Dino Thunder. She's very cute. Just thought I'd share.

The soundtrack to the first film is kinda.....weird. Like, it doesn't fit the film, it's all late 70's rock with Van Halen's Dreams thrown in at the end.

Power Rangers was awesome, I got an autograph picture of Tommy from when he came to a mall here, well It's one of those cheapy autographs if you know what I mean, I didn't get to meet him, but whatever.
Also I saw an episode once where Zack did a 50 foot flying kick across the screen to a putty, it was incredible.
