Who's playing as Deadpool first shot out of the barrel? ;D
I've got mine on reserve as we speak, and can't wait to unleash some hellacious fury on Stark and the Pro-Registration D-bags!
Oh, and I guess I get Thor right away too.
HUZZZAH!
To quote Wilson himself....."Who's hankerin' for a spankerin'?" ;D ;D

All I have is a Wii and a PS2, and from I have gathered, the Wii version is pretty s***.

I imagine 'Pool is gonna be Pro-Regisration. So that's what I'll play first.
Also, I have mine preordered, so I can get Juggernaut, but I doubt I'll be able to pick it up until the end of the week.
Got mine on 360.

Review is in from IGN.....and they give it a 7.7 score. Wow. I had expected the score to be much, much higher than that. Amongst the issues they had with it were seven seconds (five on the 360) load times while changing out characters, and that you only get ONE alternate costume, though I strongly suspect that MIGHT be because they're saving additional garb for DLC. Also, they said that this feels like the same old, same old to them, but as a rebuttal, I say SO WHAT? I mean, if you loved the first one like I did, you couldn't have a more ringing endorsement! Add in a sort of inFAMOUS like twist where you need to play through twice (once as Pro and then as Anti-registration) and you've got a good solid title, IMO.

First, 7.7 isn't a bad score.
Second, reading the details of that review it sounds like I'm going to love this game as most of those problems aren't even really problems.
It has an 80% on 360 and 81% on PS3 on Game Rankings so far.

Yeah, reading through that again....seems like he was either A) expecting something he didn't get, something really different from the first, or B)nitpicking like CRAZY.

Not that I'm trying to take away from the current topic or put down the two Marvel Alliance games, but was anyone here a fan of the two X-Men Legends games? I kinda wish they would go back to that formula, except using all the Marvel guys, of course.

I love the X-Men Legends games too, yes. But again, Deadpool was the best part of those games. ;D Just ask him, he'll tell you himself.

He was only in part two though. Thought he was an NPC in the first one too? Talked a whole bunch of crap to you the entire time during his level.

May have been. It's bean a while. It has for me too, so I'm not entirely sure myself. One thing I did notice was that in this game, you find a hint guide called "Wades Ways To Win" and it opens up a bunch of hints in the menu screen hosted by Deadpool. These would have ROCKED had they used AUDIO and voiceover instead of just txt. As it is, you have to kind of imagine Wade saying the lines as you read them. Also, Thor's voice is.....pretty un-godlike. Hercules sounds more legit Asgardian than Thor. Spider-Man's voice is off, as well, though pretty much everyone else is ok thus far.

Who voiced Spidey and Thor this time around? Last game it was Cam Clarke and Quintin...something. He did Raiden from MGS 2.

I dunno...but MAN, he sounds like the same guy that voice the big fat cop in the old 90's cartoon BONKERS about the crazy cat who's paired up with a surly cop....needless to say, NOT the voice I would have gone with for Thor, God of THUNDER!
Spidey sounds like a Jonas Brother. That is all.

Okay so I finally got this game and been playing. One thing I love about it is how the text based conversations are finally taylored to the charatcers having them. These games have always had "unqiue" conversations, where if you talk to the right character with the right character it would have a conversation only those two could have with voice acting, but the rest of the time the text-based discussions were the same no matter who was speaking to whom.
Not anymore, now even those have personality to them. I was talking to Songbird using Juggernaut and he was doing things like calling her "Little bird" in the text. He also at one point said "Don't worry, the Thunderbolts look great in comparison to people like me walking around." refering to how Songbird didn't want people thinking she was a criminal. Wolverine's text conversation with her was different though. I love it.
