Merry Christmas, everybody!!!! Well, since it's Christmas Day, and I began Christmas With Some Songs About U.S. Presidents, Divorce, and Zombie Metaphors Of Soldiers Week On Saturday, then Christmas And That Other Theme That's Too Long For Me To Type Again Week is over. So, let's end on two of my favorite Christmas songs. Though, I should warn you; they aren't all that Christmasy. One is more focused on forwarding the plot of the rock opera it's a part of, and the other is about Santa going on a homicidal rage. Anyway, here's The Who's "Christmas" from the movie version of "Tommy" and The Killers' "Don't Shoot Me Santa":
Bonus: Here's the album version of "Christmas":

Okay, Christmas is over; and it's almost time for New Year's. So, let's do another theme week. And, since time keeps on slipping into the future, the theme will be Time. I take it that you all have figured out the video for today from the previous sentence. That's right! It's...
Pink Floyd's "Time"!

I know this is late, but I wanted to wait until it got dark to post the two videos for today. For Time Week, I'm not just posting songs with the word time in it. I'm also posting songs that have units of time in it. So, here are a pair of nighttime songs from Phil Collins:

Time Week will now take you all back to the year everyone freaked out about Y2K, "Fight Club" was released, and everyone wanted to be a millionaire. It was a year so awesome that Prince was singing about it in 1982. It's "1999":

Time Week continues as we look at another video with a year for the title, and yes, I know I posted this one before. But, it was bound to happen sometime. Might as well start now: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrivjzw0RlIAlso, here are two more Smashing Pumpkins' songs that deal with time. You know, "beginning" and "end" can tie in with time, and it's New Year's Eve; a new year is beginning and the old one is ending; and...you know what!? f*** IT!!!! These songs are awesome, and I don't need no f***ing excuse to post them!!!! [dm]x93hnf_the-smashing-pumpkins-the-end-is-th_music[/dm] www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y40COsFSvUo

Also, for s*** and giggles (to tie in with Time Week), here's "Beautiful Day":

It's not gonna be a beautiful day for that puppy dog.
And bob, I'm totally immune to bullets at this point in my life.
