Post by 'Tep, the Crawling Chaos on Jan 16, 2010 21:09:07 GMT -5
“Oh, oh… Isn’t this a warm welcome”
These were the only words that left the Eldritch Abomination’s lips as he stared at Revy with an expression of mocking, his figure not moving one inch as the gunslinger sprang into action and fired her gun two consecutive times just before she tried to rush past him using the power of the Millennium Ring as a boost. How disappointing… Hadn’t she learned by now that her bullets were useless against him even after all the times she had tried to murder him? And just like he had expected the bullets did nothing but send a ripple through the surface of his being as they contacted with his chest, quickly disappearing into the black depths of the Outer God’s torso just before the holes they made closed up, leaving ‘Tep physically unharmed.
“You are a disappointment Revy… Did you really think I’d let you pass by me with just that? Don’t make me laugh…” he said in a haughty tone of voice, his every word dripping with pride and venom. Merely snapping his fingers, ‘Tep would make a huge wall of condensed volcanic rock appear right behind him in a matter of seconds, cutting off Revy’s ‘escape’ route and blocking off ‘Pool at the same time. “…I’m afraid your reunion with ‘Pool will have to wait. But don’t worry… She’s next in my list of priorities, right after you.” He said in a tone loud enough for ‘Pool too to hear. He was pretty sure that his little wall trick wouldn’t make much difference when the two Ex-Harem members had such a desire to meet one another again, but it didn’t matter… After all he had done that only as a way to frustrate them both. It was still too early to stop playing around with Revy after all… Especially since both he and her had such good history together.
“So tell me, Revy… What is your reply to my announcement? Will you join me and bring chaos to this pathetic world…” he said as he extended one of his arms to the side of his body. “…or will you defy me and die horribly? Be sure to think thoroughly before you answer... after all it would be a waste to have such a talented gunner like you die now wouldn't it?” he asked in a sarcastic tone of voice, his grin still present on his lips as he observed the woman who had once managed to seemingly hurt him. “But what am I saying… There's no chance in hell that you wouldn't join me after all that happened in that happy dream of yours, now is there? ” he finally said, visibly making fun of her. He really hoped that she *didn’t* join his side… This wouldn’t be half as fun if she did after all…

*while waiting a familiar a very familiar thing is smelt*
I know that smell, it's fear.
And because it's fear it must be coming from the evil Kobushi.

An angry growl that sounded vaguely cat-like in nature (naturally causing the neck-hairs of a certain nearby martial artist to stand up on end) escaped from Revy's throat as she watched her bullets slam harmlessly into the chest of 'Tep, the wall of volcanic rock preventing her from leaping through the air to gloriously tackle-hug Fempool out of her boots. Turning slightly to face the Outer God, her eyes narrowed as she raised a Cutlass again, her lips curling into an agitated sneer. "You're damn ****in' right I ain't gonna ally with you or Squidface again. You tormented me... tormented US... and the power is just so not ****in' worth being under your creepy little thumb!" she snapped, twirling the pistol on her index finger before sneering. "Besides, I know you can be hurt, because I'm the one who did it... remember?" taunted Revy, her tone extremely mocking.

The creature moved slowly, not quite sure on where it was going, but definitely sure on what it was going after. There were humans out there, and it could smell it with its perfectly fake nose. It was, at the moment, a she -- surprisingly, it dug its way into the mind of one of its victims, a healthy young woman, and found out that it could imitate the human thing quite well.
It -- she had made a perfect copy. It did not understand things like space and mass, and a small lake of itself gathered around itself and became a young woman, ignoring the fact that this was probably impossible. The nose that picked up the smell of humans was there, as well as several other vital organs that kept humans ticking. As a blob, the creature did not need these things, unless it was hungry, but in her human form, it seemed to work quite well.
Slowly, it advanced further, and began to think. Not quite human, but almost.

The Preacher rode through the forest, still thinking of the dream he had awoken from the night before.
He had been standing in a foggy area, looking around, trying to find a way to leave. He had been walking around, until....
"You seem lost, Preacher."
He spun around, surprised that someone, or something, had actually snuck up on him. He turned to see this giant, metal-looking warrior staring down at him. Probably one of the oddest things he's seen. But then again, he's seen a martial artist that turned into a busty young girl when splashed by water. Then, the giant warrior spoke again.
"Do not fear, Preacher. I am not here to destroy you. I am the great Daizyujin. I have come here to warn you."
"Nyarlathotep, the powerful deity, had put the entire world to sleep. For what reason, I do not know yet. But I have come to you, Preacher, with a mission. You are to right the wrongs that have been set. But fear not, for I will be here, even in your darkest hour."
The Preacher continued to ride on, remembering what the giant metal god had told him. He was unsure of all this, but was sure on one thing. He would right the wrongs that were set in motion.

The human female took a deep breath, while the Creature in its true form, inside her, did nothing. Hours ago, the Creature had transformed itself into a human female in order to move around unnoticed. It had created a perfect copy, body and mind. Both human and creature sensed something, someone, close by, and then it moved.
OOC -- well, anyone want to meet the mysterious blob thing?

*The Preacher rode into another town, on his quest to find the deity and bring him down for the good of all mankind. He dismounted and walked into a bar, looking around.*
*He surveyed the place, looking like it had gone through a twister. He remembered seeing something like this before, looking back in retrospect to the red-clad, big mouthed mercenary. He remembered the battle that he went through with that merc, but ended up helping the man in his mission. He'd never seen an odder fellow, but when push came to shove, the man was a person that would get the job done.*
*He hadn't seen the merc for a while now, wondering if he was dead or not. He had shot him 5 times, but it seemed like nothing hurt the man. He hoped to meet up with the man once more, thinking he could possibly help him on his quest.*
*He walked up to the counter, as the lady behind counter came over and took his order.*
Whiskey. Make it a double.
*He sat there with his drink, pondering what his next move should be.*

[Okay, we have to be near the top by now right?]
"I don't know, it's felt like I've been climbing this freaking wall of rock for hours, but my watch says it's only been a few minutes."
[There is no way this thing was this high. I mean it was only like what... a hundred feet?]
Fempool looks down below and sees that she has indeed made progress, as the ground looks roughly the same distance down as the top of the wall looked from the ground. As she looks back up, the layers of jagged volcanic rock soar upward still, as if she hadn't even begun to attempt to scale the face of this demonic structure. It was almost as if the cliff side was alive, and taunting her. It knew she wanted to get over it, and that she would fight to do so, but it would not allow her to. Not until she wanted.
"THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I DON'T EVEN HAVE ANYTHING WITTY, FUNNY OR FOURTH WALL BREAKING TO SAY!"
[Well, you just broke the fourth wall by saying you can't break the fourth wall.]
"True, and I guess that gets our joke for this part of our adventure out of the way. Now let's try to... oh shit..." just as Fempool was about to talk to herself to make a plan she realized that the rocky cliff wasn't as stable as she had hoped. A rock had come loose beneath her feet as she was reaching toward another holding point making her fall off the cliff side.
[Well, it's been nice..........UUUUHHHFFFF]
The ground made contact in a manner a lot less damaging and painful than one would think. But that's what happen when you only fall about three feet. The shock of not being dead, or at least having her healing factor working in overdrive because she thought she was at least one hundred feet in the air is almost overwhelming. However, Fempool has no time to dwell on the manner of tricks that made that and rather she was hallucinating or not. A new plan begins to formulate in her head, if she can't get over 'Teps little mountain, she'll go around it. Revy saved her once, and she fully intends to repay the favor.
As she turns around to exit the alley way that led her to this supernatural dead end, she notices what looks to be a fire escape door to some sort of building. Deciding this may in fact be the quickest way out she pulls out some plastic explosives from her utility belt and attaches them to the cold steel door. Sure this might garner some more unwanted attention, but hey, she's a bad-ass mercenary.
[Hell yeah we are Mr. Narrator!]
A dumpster in the alley makes a perfect hiding place while the explosives are set off, leaving a gapping hole where the back door to... wherever... used to be. Jumping out of the dumpster, and now probably reeking of garbage, she blindly runs into the building not thinking for a second of any kind of strategy. I mean what's the worst that can happen...?
"God dammit. What the hell else can go wrong?" Fempool looks around a lively club filled with some now angry security personnel. "Vampires..." is the only word mumbled out of her mouth when she sees the sign "Nocturne" on the wall of the club.

*The Preacher walks out of the bar, looking around, hearing commotion coming from down the street. He reaches down, loading his magnums with a special brand of bullets. He walks into a club, seeing angry personnel surrounding a familiar figure. But something is different about this mercenary. For one, it's a lady. He reaches down for one of the magnums, clicking it, the security personnel swing around to face him.*
"Not very nice picking on a lady."
*One of the personnel run towards The Preacher, but only makes it so far, as he is filled with bullets. The man stumbles backwards, then turns to ash, as the others look at him. One speaks to him.*
"Who are you?"
*He looks down at the pile of ash, then turns to the man.*
"Well, it really doesn't matter, does it?"

"I don't know how comfortable I am with this..." a muffled voice is heard saying underneath a leather Cthulhu cultist mask. The long, dark robes are something he is not used to and are much, much heavier than he imagined they would be.
"Jason, you'll grow to accept them. It's all a part of your life now. Just imagine when you get your more elegant garb when you become a dark priest. You'll be so sexy." says Nekopool while she forces him in front of a mirror to make him look at himself. "And also just so you know, whenever we go out into public I want you wearing you these... or I will kill you." Her face becomes deadly serious with eyes almost glowing with delight at the thought of eviscerating someone.
And with that she once again grabbed Jason's hand and forced him out of the room into the main hall of the Church of Madness. Jason wondered where this small woman, if he could call her that, got such strength to pull him around like this. "Where are we?"
"Surely, the writer of me and the other Pool's recognizes the Church of Madness when he sees it?"
Jason had been feeling the very corrupting force of the Church itself inside of his mind ever since he woke up. It was like thoughts and actions were trying to be put into his head. One has to almost actively resist when in this place just to have a chance of not caving and going mad. But he's not mad, no he's not, and he won't be. He'll fight it. He's the writer dammit. He should be able to control Nekopool, not the other way around, but he needs to get out of here first to think clearly.
"What about your friend? Felicia, you said we need to go find her, can we do that?" He asks, just wanting to get outside.
Nekopool smiles slyly, "Good idea. She's out there alone and probably scared. And thanks to her being in direct contact with Nyarlathotep when you all awoke, I know where she is." She then pushes open the large church doors, revealing bellow the town of once normal people that have been corrupted by the presence of the church.
Looking down, Jason noticed the people of the town were twisted. Some were effected more than others. It was as if man and demonic creature existed in this town together to serve and protect the church - outside of it's seemingly magical protection that is. All other forms of religion seem to have been destroyed as he noticed burned down shells of what seems to have used to been normal churches.
"The people here all converted to worshiping Nyarlathotep. Of course some needed some... persuading." Nekopool points out.
"Why do some people look more twisted than others?"
"Oh it's all random. Whatever mood strikes 'Tep at the time. But hey, they are happy now in servitude. Look at it this way, there is a group of lamia girls for you to chase after." she laughs and points toward a group of half human women half snake creatures while continuing through the town. "I know how much you like monster girls too."
Jason blushes from embarrassment, but no one can tell through the Cthulhu Cultist mask.
Nekopool grins and decides that she's had enough of walking through the town. It was more or less a tour for Jason anyways, to see his new home, to see what his new life will be like... and with that she teleported Jason and herself to the city, to the center of a small radius where Felicia may be.
"FELICIA!" she shrilled out loud in a cat like voice. She continues but switching to the cat girl language "<It's your friend Nekopool! You can come out now!>"
While Nekopool yelled for Felicia, Jason went in and out of buildings searching for Felicia. Sure he didn't know her, but he figured a scared cat girl shouldn't be to hard to notice.

Erik simply perks an eyebrow at the sudden commotion and stands up, snapping his fingers and bringing everyone to attention.
"Pardon. Is there any particular reason you've breached the fire exit? You were welcome to use the front door. All are welcome here..." he furrows his brow at the preacher type.
"With the exception of you. You've brought violence into this place of peace. Not uncommon of your type...I do suggest you lay down your arms and behave. Unless you wish for Club Nocturne to force you out." he whispers over to someone who seems to wander over and clean up the mess.
The way he says it...it seems as if the place its self could seal him out somehow. Weird. But, then again...look at the denizens.
"So. Lady. You look to have quite the assets. Nice...arsenal." he grins a toothy grin "What brings you here...your hasty, not particularly well thought out entrance suggests that you are fleeing from something. I figure it would be insulting to ask if you needed protection, but if needed...you may borrow some of my men. Or not. Your call, at any rate, make yourself comfortable and have a drink. But please, try not to bring such raucous, short fused guests...bad for the vibe here."
He sits back down and leans back in his booth, his bodyguard Ryan stays on the defensive...just in case, but at any rate the group seems interested in her. They haven't seen a being such as her stroll through this establishment until now.

Post by 'Tep, the Crawling Chaos on Jan 27, 2010 12:42:34 GMT -5
“Very well… If that’s what you wish…” ‘Tep would say as he heard Revy’s response, his grin widening as he merged with his surroundings and vanished in the blink of an eye. To Revy it would seem as if the Outer God had decided to leave her alone, his very imposing and corrupting presence disappearing from the area just as quickly as it had appeared a few minutes ago… That is until an inhuman and cold voice made itself heard from what seemed like everywhere around the gunslinger. Coming from her left… her right… behind and in-front of her… and also from beneath and from above her, a truly bone chilling cackle would be heard just before the very space around the ex-Harem member started to seemingly melt and fall down, several tentacles erupting from ground and sky alike to grab unto Revy’s arms, legs and body with ferocious speed. “You’ve made your choice Revy… You shouldn’t have defied me.” the Crawling Chaos would say, the serious, yet somewhat mocking tone of his voice noticeable even as the sound emerged from all directions. “You put so much faith in the thought that you managed to harm me once that you actually think you can kill me if you try hard enough… How pitiful of you. ” he would proclaim, the air around the female gunner once again shifting as hundreds of red, bloodshot eyes opened up, adorning the “walls” of the corrupted space Revy was now in. “Haven’t you ever thought I might have actually let you injure me that time? Don’t be as prideful as to think you could harm a god, woman…” The eyes would all focus on Revy as these last few words left the Eldritch Abomination ‘lips’, their blood red gaze
“...but since you are so certain of yourself, do try to kill me.” he would say just as a an arm as black as a moonless night erupted from the air in front of Revy, it’s hand’s index finger outstretched so that it was mere inches away from the gunslinger’s forehead, a bullet covered in blood emerging from it’s tip before it was quickly shot towards Revy. “I will use you as an example to all those who try to defy me. Just try to survive long enough for this to be fun, okay?” the Chaotic Abomination would proclaim just before he let out a cackle. How ironic would it be if he killed Revy with her own bullet? After all, if she was hit with that attack she wouldn’t survive… He was the one who had granted her regeneration powers after all and as such he could disable them with a mere thought. “Not that you have a sliver of a chance…” he would conclude

"Go **** a donkey!"
If there was one thing that Revy had more or less become totally desensitized to because of the 'dream', it was the world exploding into pitch blackness, bright red eyes staring at her from every direction while an egomaniac ranted at her about how he was top s*** and blah blah blah. Her eyes narrowed ever-so-slightly with the tentacles holding her more or less in place while 'Tep continued to blather on before he brought up a very valid point that briefly had her reconsidering her options; he probably had allowed her to 'wound' him earlier, which meant she could very well be in deep ****, but her pride refused to let her back down.
She stared fearlessly at the finger that formed in front of her, the blood red bullet making her smirk in amusement, her eyes unwavering. "I will survive, ya shapeshifting ****..." she taunted, watching the bullet slide forward just a bit more... and snapped her head to the side as it sped at her, wincing as her hat went flying into the air, blood oozing down the side of her head from the path of the projectile.
Squirming slightly, the Ring on her chest lit up, the prongs pointing towards the darkness, and a sneer crossed her face as a blinding blue laser started to emanate from the eye in the middle of the ancient Egyptian artifact... and she abruptly jerked twice as the bullet exploded through the front of her skull, her eyes wide with surprise. "...d-dammit..." she gasped, the prongs drooping as the glow faded, the gunslinger slumping in 'Tep's grasp.
...s-sorry, 'Pool... the blood orgy... will hafta wait... she thought sadly before everything went black.
