What happened to saturday morning cartoons? I know they still exist in some form, but they just don't have that great feel of importance anymore. Damn, I'd wait all week for those friggin' cartoons and occasionally live-action shows.
Maybe it's just me getting old...er.

A lot of it has to do with the advent of 24 hour cartoon networks.

We'll be Riiight Back! a prime example of why the 80's is so missed. ... It had been so long since I'd seen these, that I honestly thought I had imagined them. Thank you, sir. Saturday Morning Cartoons are still there, if you look hard enough. I think it's just they look bad from an adult perspective now because they're not OUR Saturday Morning Cartoons, the ones we grew up with. Well, that and all the subpar CGI. ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png)

I wanna be on the internet in 20 years when the 4 year olds of Today are posting about how they miss iCarly.

I like some of the new stuff they've got on these days almost as much as I like some of the older stuff I grew up on. But, it is hard to believe that Saturday Morning Cartoons aren't dying when some channels, like Fox, no longer have them.

And to add to the mood, a commercial break I marked out for the Fruit Wrinkles and Pudding Roll-Ups commercials in this video. Damn, those were tasty.
