Like, to the point of having difficulty watching the show anymore knowing that said sad thing will eventually happen, or at least certain parts of it,
Mine? I am a huge mark for The X-Files, taped it every week in junior high, and own all the seasons on DVD...but it's difficult for me to watch much of the conspiracy episodes due to how muddled, confusing, and downright craptacular the whole thing became in the final couple seasons. And the fact that NOTHING in it was resolved. ERGH!!!
Virtually the same thing with 24 - love the show, still buy every DVD and watch them immediately after purchase in a week-long (or so) marathon, but I can't really rewatch the earlier seasons knowing that so many close friends and family members of Jack Bauer get killed off.
For lighter stuff, I'm a HUGE fan of the Bobby and Connie's relationship during the early seasons of King of the Hill, and to this day have difficulty watching any episodes where they are still a couple knowing what will eventually happen. And I KNOW I can't be the only one with that psychosis.
Anybody else have any things that kill certain parts of their TV shows for them? I'm guessing the tragic season-ending death on M*A*S*H will get some mentions.

I always thought Luck of the Fryish was sadder than Jurassic Bark.

That 2-part episode of the X-Files in which Mulder's mother commits suicide and then he finds out the truth about his sister. It's sad, but it does sort of end on a positive note.

Also, there were several deaths on Lost that made me sad. The biggest one was Charlie's death, especially because of the last episode that focused on him. In it, all his flashbacks were what he considered the best moments of his life, or his greatest hits.
