I scanned most of the stuff on my drive in the cpu lab where I went to school and I emailed it to myself so I can save it on my drive at gome
I got about 1/2 of what's on my drive back

I know how you feel. Any time I have to be at an airport the next day I magically develop insomnia.

And then my boss calls this morning to let me know that I can't come in until this afternoon anyways. Lovely.

It's because you know you need to sleep, and you can't let your mind slow down enough to drift off.
It doesn't always work, but I try to breathe slowly and deeply, and think about stuff that calms me down.

It doesn't always work, but I try to breathe slowly and deeply, and think about stuff that calms me down. True that. And I guess the problem is that I have too much on my mind lately. I can't seem to focus on something relaxing for too long before something a bit more exciting or serious creeps it's way in.

I hate going to sleep with something on my mind. Anything, really, other than me needing to sleep and wake up the next day.

At least if it's coming out the back, you have the option of just sitting there with a good book or something. I hope you're feeling better after that night, man.

It's now 7:40 AM over here and I haven't even tried to sleep.
If I go to bed now I will probably fall asleep soon enough, but then I'll wake up at 6 or 7 PM feeling like a zombie and having wasted the entire day. On the other hand, if I don't sleep at all now, I'll feel horrible during the day and will probably end up going to bed at 6 PM... and then waking up in the middle of the night. This sucks.
