so...I almost got burned alive today
here's what happened
I was helpung my dad prepare dinner like normal when he asked me to light the grill
I turned the gas on from the propane tank and let it start to go for 10 seconds to give it enough time to get into the grill
I stuck the lighter into the hole where the flame is supposed to go....and it didn't light up
I was confused by this...so I turned the propane tank off then turned it back on
when I went to light the grill again....
BOOM! what appeared to be a gigantic fire ball emerged from the hole to light the grill
apparently my dad neglected to tell me that I need to have the top of the grill open when lighting it
as a result I had a bunch of grill ashes on my hair and eye browns

Meh. Chicken isn't worth getting burned alive for.
Now... a nice, juicy venison steak on the other hand...
