Hello and welcome back to Your favorite Superhero/Villain + Story ;D
You guys know how this works heck if I have some more time maybe my fighting game character one may return. Anyway here are the brief rules ...
In the event of a tie both will carry on to the next day to meet some other challenger. I will try and vary the sources from comics to tv show characters.
I'm also going to add a bit of story to this to make it interesting, it's still a favorite poll but it's going to have continuity! (I will try and post the full story so far at a later date when I have bit of time.) In the meantime the brief synopsis at the bottom will have to do.
Currently Deadpool holds the record by surviving 6 rounds.
I will happily take requests for future opponents. But in the meantime we have to back track to where the story left off ....
---------
Hmmm ... someone scrubbed the tape of the last encounter so its magical replay time !!! ....

*Last time Cyclops had accidentally landed in the realm of Vampirella.*
Cyclops: Jean?
Vampirella: No, I am Vampirella, but don't worry I don't bite.
*Before anyone can make a move, Cyclops fades from view*
Vampirella: Aw ...
*Back on earth we find Doctor Octopus heading to a rather imposing building in Europe. As he approaches Cyclops materialises right in front of him.*
Doctor Octopus: Out of my way!
*Doc Ock clobbers Cyclops to one side with a spare tentacle and keeps going.*
Doctor Octopus: Shocker, deal with this!
*Cyclops rolls up agaisnt a wall only to find Shocker about to send out a shockwave. Spider-Man appears nearby on a wall, clearly he had been following Doc Ock.*
Shocker: No jokes hero,
Spider-Man: C'mon shockmaster our fans expect it. Now why did you steal my cushion?
Cyclops: Spidey watch out!
*Cyclops dodges a shockwave, as does Spidey but in mid-blast vulture swoops in and carries Spider-man away.*
Cyclops: Sorry Shocker, I don't joke I just act!
*Cyclops gets back up and prepares for an optic blast against Shocker*
*Can Cyclops continue the chase or will Shocker end his run?*
Cyclops
Cyclops (Scott Summers) is a mutant and the field leader of the X-Men in the Marvel Comics Universe. As a mutant, Cyclops produces powerful "optic blasts" from his eyes, forcing him to wear specialized glasses at all times and a specialized visor in combat. His powers may have led to his inhibited, meticulous character. These same qualities, however, have made him an ideal leader for the X-Men. He is the son of Corsair, the brother of Havok and Vulcan; the father of Cable; and the widower of Madelyne Pryor and Jean Grey. In alternate realities, he has also been the father of Marvel Girl and Ruby Summers, and the biological parent to X-Man and Cable's clone Stryfe. The first X-Man recruited by Charles Xavier and one of the original five X-Men, Cyclops has had a large presence in X-Men-related comics since their inception. He has also been featured in almost every adaptation of the team in other media. In practically every incarnation of the character, he has almost always been shown to be not only Charles Xavier's most loyal student, but also the one who most believes in his dream of mutant and human equality. His loyalty to Xavier has cost him dearly from time to time, yet the character remained by Xavier's side until recently. In turn, Xavier is known to view Scott as one of his most (if not the most) prized pupils, and looks upon Scott not as a mentor to mentee, but rather as a father to a son. Although being typecast as the sensible, stiff loner, Cyclops has had several serious relationships. Unfortunately, most if not all of them have ended poorly. One striking feature is the fact that he seems attracted to women with telepathic abilities. Cyclops has the power to emit beams of energy from his eyes. Although the beams have the appearance of red light, they do not heat objects but instead deliver tremendous concussive force. These beams or 'optic blasts' are tremendously powerful, able to rupture steel plates and pulverize rock. Depending on the amount of energy channeled, the beams can be released in various widths, appearing in enormous bursts on rare occasions. They have been observed to level a skyscraper, or can be focused tight enough to punch a pin hole in a dime. Cyclops' beams have also been demonstrated to reflect off certain shiny surfaces; in concert with Cyclops' intuitive sense of spatial geometry, this reflective quality of his beams allows him to bounce the beams off many different surfaces in rapid succession so as to strike a desired target from an unexpected angle. Summers is immune to the harmful effects of his own powers — the natural psionic field which surrounds his body safely absorbs the energy of his beams if they should come into contact with his body. Cyclops has spent most of his superhero career as the leader of either the X-Men or X-Factor and has developed exceptional leadership skills. It is notable that regardless of their general attitude towards him, all of the X-Men tend to obey his orders in battle - because they know that he's usually right. According to Nick Fury's files, Scott's abilities are at their best in tense situations. Fury notes that the less time Cyclops has to think about a decision, the better that decision is.
vs
Shocker
Herman Schultz was born in New York City. He was a high school dropout who had brilliant talents as both an inventor and an engineer. Instead of using such talents to gain legitimate employment, he became a successful burglar and (according to him in later stories) the world's best safe-cracker. After finally being caught and incarcerated for his crimes, he developed a pair of gauntlets designed to shoot air blasts, vibrating at high frequency. Schultz uses his gauntlets to escape from prison and becomes the supervillain known as "The Shocker". He defeats Spider-Man in their first confrontation (Spider-Man was at a disadvantage due to having a broken arm from his earlier battle with the Lizard), but was later beaten and sent back to prison by Spider-Man. While most Spider-Man villains usually shift from their original goals to a vendetta against Spider-Man, the Shocker is still concerned largely with making a living and protecting his reputation. As such, the character is usually portrayed as behaving in a more professional manner than the majority of his maniacal peers. Shocker has a notably rational personality among Spider-Man's enemies. He has often been shown to recognize his own limitations amongst a universe of super-powered individuals. When temporarily partnered with Hydro-Man, he rebukes Morrie's suggestion that they go kill Spider-Man, being far more interested in more financially lucrative ventures and trying to rebuild a professional reputation. The Shocker wears a pair of gauntlets known as "vibro-smashers" that, when activated by a thumb trigger, can project a concentrated blast of air that vibrates at an intense frequency. This allows the Shocker to both effectively throw long range vibrational punches, as well as throw shock waves which vibrate the structure of something in order to weaken or destroy it. Holding the thumb triggers down for an extended period of time increases the intensity, speed, and even spread of the air blasts. The feedback from the Shocker's gauntlets is extremely intense (the initial test almost killed him). To guard himself from this, Schultz developed a protective costume consisting largely of yellow quilt patches designed to absorb the shock. The costume's appearance has been the source of ridicule on the part of Spider-Man and other characters.
