JIMMY FALLON joined the cast of SNL in 1998, hangin' around until 2004. He's made several cameos since leaving the cast, however. Fallon's characters on the show include Jarret, stoner host of the college webcam show Jarret's Room; a snooty clerk at the Jeffrey's clothing store; Joey Mack, Z105's one-man morning zoo crew; Sully, a Boston teen; and Nick Burns, Your Company's Computer Guy. Fallon's impressions include SNL alumni like Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, and Gilbert Gottfried, as well as Barry Gibb, Dave Matthews, Carson Daly, Enrique Iglesias, French Stewart, Howard Stern, Hillary Swank, Nicholas Cage, Richard Simmons, Robin Williams, and many more. Fallon was also co-anchor of Weekend Update for 4 seasons, alongside Tina Fey. "The Best of Jimmy Fallon" DVD is available, and amazingly, there's only, like, one sketch where he breaks character on it!
Fallon's off-SNL credits include roles in the films Fever Pitch, Taxi, and Almost Famous. He also had a role in the mini-series Band of Brothers; he's released a Grammy-nominated comedy album, The Bathroom Wall; he co-wrote the book I Hate This Place: The Pessimist's Guide to Life with his sister Gloria; and he's hosted the MTV Video Music Awards and Movie Awards a number of times. He is currently the host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
AMY POEHLER was an SNL castmember from 2001 to 2008, leaving midway through the most recent season, though she did make a return cameo at the season finale. Amy's characters include the hyperactive little girl Caitlin, who hangs out with her stepdad Rick (played by Horatio Sanz); Amber, a classless one-legged woman who appears on reality shows; the white trash wife of Chris Kattan's equally white trash character, as the two would get into crazy fights on the Cops-like America Undercover; and a papparazzo who would constantly ask celebrities intrusive questions about their personal lives. Amy's impressions include Avril Lavigne, Dakota Fanning, Hillary Clinton, Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas, Nancy Pelosi, Sharon Osbourne, and Rosie Perez, among others. Following Jimmy Fallon's departure, Amy took over his co-anchor duties on Weekend Update, alongside Tina Fey. Earlier this year, NBC aired "The Best of Amy Poehler" but thus far, it has not had a DVD release.
Amy's credits beyond SNL include roles in Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo with Rob Schneider, Wet Hot American Summer with Janeane Garofalo, Mean Girls with Tina Fey, Blades of Glory with Will Ferrell, and Baby Mama with Fey, among others. She also co-created the Nickelodeon series The Mighty B! and she's the star of NBC's Parks and Recreation.
