ALEC BALDWIN has hosted SNL 14 times, the second most anybody's hosted the show (behind Steve Martin). His first time hosting was back in 1990, and his most recent was in 2009, and he's also made several cameo appearances on the show. On the show, Baldwin has played the ruggedly handsome Scout Master intent on seducing Adam Sandler's Canteen Boy, the ruggedly handsome Pete Schwetty who offers his pastry balls for radio hosts to taste, a ruggedly handsome French teacher more interested in the way his students speak French than whether or not they use the language properly, and a ruggedly handsome alcoholic who tells tales about Bill Brasky! Alec has also performed impressions, including the ruggedly handsome Tony Bennett, Charles Nelson Reilly, Robert DeNiro, and others. Baldwin's best sketches have been compiled on one ruggedly handsome DVD that's available at stores.
Aside from his SNL work, Baldwin's been the ruggedly handsome star of many films and tv shows, including Beetlejuice, Glengary Glen Ross, The Shadow, Clerks The Animated Series, The Departed, The Royal Tennenbaums, and 30 Rock alongside Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, and occasionally...
CHRIS PARNELL joined SNL in 1998 as a featured player, was fired after the 2000-01 season, brought back in the second half of the 01-02 season, and stayed until the end of the 05-06 season. He's made a few cameos since then, though. While on the show, Parnell has played characters such as Jeph from the fictional boy band 7 Degrees Celsius, Merv "The Perv" Watson, Sean DeMarco, a lousy dancer who auditions for SNL's musical guests along with his brother (played by Chris Kattan), Thad, one of the Gays in Space, Tyler, a patient at the Appalachian Emergency Room who consistently gets things stuck up his butt, and Wayne Bloder, who uses corny pickup lines to try to get women (along with his brother played by Jimmy Fallon). Parnell's impressions include Jack Osbourne, Bing Crosby, Eminem (making out with Horatio Sanz's Elton John), John McCain, Simon Cowell, and Tom Brokaw. He's also famous for performing rap songs, notably about hosts on the show like Jennifer Garner and Britney Spears, though his most famous is the Digital Short "Lazy Sunday" where he and Andy Samberg rap about snack foods and the Chronicles of Narnia.
Parnell's credits off SNL include a role on 30 Rock, as well as roles in The Ladies Man with Tim Meadows, Anchorman with Will Ferrell, Hot Rod with Andy Samberg and Bill Hader, and Hollywood & Wine with Chris Kattan, David Spade, and Norm MacDonald.
