We're halfway through Round 1! Hooray! Now here's two more people you probably don't remember were on SNL...
JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS was a castmember on SNL from 1982 to 1985, and came back to host in 2006 and 2007, making her the first female SNL alum to come back to host the show. Her characters on the show include female televangelist April May June, Darla in Little Rascals sketches, and Weather Woman, a superhero who can control the weather. Her impressions include Diana Ross, Linda Ronstadt, Marie Osmond, and Nastassja Kinski. She also once played a little girl whose father accidentally performs the "got your nose" gag literally...with messy results.
Dreyf's other credits include playing Elaine on the hit show Seinfeld (co-created by former SNL writer Larry David), National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase and Randy Quaid, A Bug's Life, and the Emmy winning New Adventures of Old Christine.
JAY MOHR was a featured player on SNL from 1993 to 1995. His only recurring character was James Barone, host of the talk show Good Morning Brooklyn. He also performed impressions of Christopher Walken, Sean Penn, Don Rickles, Billy Idol, Kenny G., Ricki Lake, and others. He's also showcased "wacky sports bloopers" that weren't actually wacky on Weekend Update, played a rock and roll real estate agent, and was eaten by a polar bear in his last episode (apparently people being eaten by animals is a recurring theme on SNL).
Mohr's work outside SNL includes writing the book Gasping for Airtime: Two Years in the Trenches of Saturday Night Live which details his experience on the show. He's also had roles in TV and film projects, like Mafia!, Suicide Kings alongside Christopher Walken, horror/comedy Cherry Falls, The Adventures of Pluto Nash with Eddie Murphy, Are We There Yet?, and more. He was also the creator, host, and executive producer of NBC's Last Comic Standing reality show for three seasons.
