DAVID SPADE was an SNL castmember from 1990-1996. After leaving the cast, Spade would still occasionally make cameo appearances, and he hosted once in 1998 and once in 2005. Spade's characters include Gap girl Christy Henderson, Dick Clark's snooty receptionist, and a steward for Total Bastard Airlines ("buh-bye"). His impressions include Michael J. Fox, Jeff Foxworthy, Kato Kaelin, Crispin Glover, Denis Leary, and Tom Petty. Perhaps his most famous bits are "Spade in America" and "The Hollywood Minute" from Weekend Update, wherein Spade would deliver scathing one-liners about celebrities. During Spade's monologue in 2005, he joked that he was hosting the show in order to pad out his "Best Of" DVD, but in actuality 3 sketches from that episode wound up on the aforementioned "Best Of."
Spade's roles outside of SNL include starring roles in Tommy Boy and Black Sheep alongside Chris Farley, as well as Joe Dirt, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, Coneheads with Dan Aykroyd and others, Reality Bites with Ben Stiller, PCU, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry with Adam Sandler, The Benchwarmers with Rob Schneider, and more. He's also been a castmember on shows like Just Shoot Me, 8 Simple Rules, and The Rules of Engagement, and he voiced a few characters on Beavis and Butthead. He also had his own Comedy Central show The Showbiz Show With David Spade.
KEVIN NEALON was an SNL castmember from 1986 to 1995. He's made a couple of cameos since leaving the cast, though. Nealon's most famous characters are Mr. Subliminal, who would sneak little messages vote for me into the pauses in his sentences vote for me; Franz, a bodybuilder who would pump *clap* you up along with his friend Hans; and Tarzan, alongside Phil Hartman's Frankenstein and Jon Lovitz's Tonto. Nealon's impressions include Brent Musberger, Elvis Presley, Gene Siskel, George Hamilton, Michael Bolton, Michael Gross, Sam Donaldson, and more. Nealon was also anchor of Weekend Update from 1991 to 1994.
Nealon's post-SNL work includes roles in films like Little Nicky, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, and Anger Management with Adam Sandler. He's a star of the series Weeds, and he's hosted TBS's World's Funniest Commercials specials.
