WILL FERRELL was an SNL castmember from 1995 to 2002. He's made several cameos since leaving the cast, and he's hosted the show twice, including the most recent season finale. In his time on the the show, Ferrell has created characters like Gene Frenkle, fictional cowbell specialist for Blue Oyster Cult; Craig, the Spartan Cheerleader; the baby-misplacing vondrook (is that an actual curse word?) Dr. Beaman; Hank, an alcoholic who would tell stories about his friend Bill Brasky; Roger, one half of The Lovers with Rachel Dratch; and Steve Butabi, one half of the Roxbury Guys. Ferrell's impressions include George W. Bush, Alex Trebek, Neil Diamond, Robert Goulet, Harry Caray, James Lipton, Janet Reno, Mark McGwire, and many many more. Will is the only SNL alum to have 2 volumes of his best work collected on DVD.
Farrell's credits outside SNL include roles in film versions of several famous SNL sketches, including A Night at the Roxbury with Chris Kattan, Superstar with Molly Shannon, and The Ladies Man with Tim Meadows. He's also appeared in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Elf, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy with David Koechner and Chris Parnell, Starsky & Hutch with Ben Stiller, Blades of Glory, Step Brothers, and the recent Land of the Lost with SNL writer Jorma Taccone. Ferrell's also provided his voice to a few characters on Family Guy, the dad on The Oblongs, and the man in the yellow hat in the Curious George movie. He launched the website Funny or Die, and he was the star of the Tony nominated one-man show You're Welcome, America: A Final Night with George W. Bush.
LARAINE NEWMAN was one of the original "Not Ready for Prime Time Players" appearing on SNL for the first 5 seasons. Her characters on the show include Connie Conehead, Beldar's daughter; Fatima Asad, of the Bel-Airabs; the valley girl Sherry; and Terri, a girl who's perverted male babysitter would take pictures of her. Laraine's impressions include Barbra Streisand, Carole King, Howard Hughes, Katharine Hepburn, Olivia Newton John, and Shirley Temple.
Outside of SNL, Laraine's appearances include episodes of According to Jim with Jim Belushi, 3rd Rock from the Sun with Jane Curtin, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and voice work on cartoons such as Danny Phantom, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Metalocalypse. She also appeared at Comedy Central's Roast of Chevy Chase, playfully mocking Chevy's career, and she played Lawanda in Problem Child 2.
