JIM BELUSHI was a castmember on SNL for the 1983-84 and 1984-85 seasons. He also made a cameo in a 2003 episode hosted by Dan Aykroyd. During his SNL tenure, Jim appeared in notable short films, including one where he stuffed his pants to a ludicrous degree, being an aggressive coach for a school's chess team, and receiving shoes made from the magical pad that automatically opens the doors at the grocery store (with tragic results). Jim's characters on the show include That White Guy, a stereotypical white guy who raps, and his impressions include Captain Kangaroo, Hulk Hogan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Willie Nelson.
Jim's roles beyond the show include the partier in the gorilla costume in Trading Places with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd, a role in the musical movie Little Shop of Horrors, and roles in Mr. Destiny with Jon Lovitz, and voice work on the show Aaaahhh! Real Monsters and in the film Hoodwinked. He's also released an album with Aykroyd and occasionally performs as Zee Blues in an updated version of the Blues Brothers. His show According to Jim recently aired its series finale.
DENNIS MILLER joined the cast of SNL in 1985 and stuck around until mid-1991. His characters include Koko, a pixie, and Steve, a character of a typical 1980s observational stand-up comic ("What's the deal with half-and-half? If its half cream and half milk, maybe they should call it crilk!"). He also performed impressions of George Harrison of the Beatles and Gary Hart. Miller is best known, though, for spending the duration of his SNL career behind the Weekend Update desk. His trademark mannerisms and comedy style have been parodied on the show by the likes of Dana Carvey, Tom Hanks, and later Jimmy Fallon.
Miller has also had his own talk shows on TV and the radio, a color commentary stint on Monday Night Football, and guest appearances on The Norm Show with Norm MacDonald and The Daily Show. He's also been in a few films, including Thank You For Smoking with David Koechner, Joe Dirt with David Spade, and Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood.
