We've reached double digits! Hooray!
NORA DUNN was on SNL for five seasons, starting in 1985 and leaving in 1990. Her characters include one half of the lounge singing Sweeney Sisters with Jan Hooks, French prostitute Babette, and model-turned-talk show host Pat Stevens. She also played Wayne's mom in Wayne's World sketches. Her impressions on the show include Ann Landers, Barbara Bush, Liza Minelli, and Shelley Duvall. Dunn is perhaps most famous, though, for boycotting an episode hosted by Andrew Dice Clay, on the grounds that she was offended by his brand of comedy.
Dunn's film roles include Miami Blues with Alec Baldwin, Runaway Jury, as Ally Loman in Bruce Almighty, a part in Zoolander with Ben Stiller, in Pineapple Express, and the voice of Morgan Proctor on Futurama. She also appeared in the documentary "Lost and Found: SNL in the 80s." (Right about now, I wish SNL's syndication rights were still at Comedy Central. They used to show episodes from her era all the time...come to think of it, Comedy Central would've been helpful to this whole tournament. The earliest episodes E! ever shows are from, like, 2005. What the hell?!)
RACHEL DRATCH was an SNL castmember from 1999 to 2006. Her characters on the show include Denise the Boston teen (teamed with Jimmy Fallon's Sully character), Qrplt*xk the love child of Angelina Jolie and her brother (based on that time when they made out at the Oscars), Debbie Downer, a space lesbian named Loretta in "Gays in Space" sketches, one half of "The Lovers" with Will Ferrell, and the Girl with no Gay-dar. Dratch's impressions include Barbara Walters, Calista Flockhart, Elijah Wood, Helena Bonham Carter, Hillary Duff, Kelly Osbourne, Nicole Richie, and Harry Potter.
Dratch's work beyond the show includes roles on 30 Rock with Tina Fey and Tracy Morgan, in Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star with David Spade, and Click and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry with Adam Sandler, and Spring Breakdown with Amy Poehler. She also performed in the two-woman show Dratch & Fey alongside Tina Fey at comedy clubs.
