First Round Results:
1.Colin Quinn eliminates Joe Piscopo, 8-1. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
2. Steve Martin eliminates Tom Hanks, 5-4! This is the kind of spontaneous publicity he needs!

DANA CARVEY was a castmember on SNL for 7 seasons, starting in 1986. After leaving the show, he still found time to make cameos and host, his last hosting gig being on October 21st, 2000. In that time, he's been punched in the face as Church Lady, the co-host of Wayne's World as Garth, a grumpy old man, a guy with a massive head wound, Hans the bodybuilder (along with his friend Franz), an effeminate heterosexual, and the songwriter who gave us "Choppin' Broccoli!" He's also performed many popular impressions, some noteworthy ones include Casey Kasem, George Bush Sr., Ross Perot, Regis Philbin, Paul McCartney, Dennis Miller (often during Weekend Update segments with the real Dennis Miller), Tom Brokaw ("Gerald Ford was eaten by wolves...he was delicious."), and the self-butt-obsessed George Michael. Carvey's work on SNL won him an Emmy, and his own "Best Of" DVD.
Outside of, but still related to, SNL, Carvey starred alongside Mike Myers in Wayne's World 1 and 2. He had his own show "The Dana Carvey Show" where The Ambiguously Gay Duo debuted (before eventually becoming SNL mainstays), and he also had a cameo in the Adam Sandler vehicle Little Nicky. And he starred in Master of Disguise, which was produced by Sandler's Happy Madison Productions.
NORM MACDONALD joined the cast of SNL in October 1993, and stayed with the show until being fired in early 1998. He came back to host the show just a year later (memorably taking delight, during his monologue, at how horrible the show became since his departure). He also had a cameo on the season finale this past May. During his time on the show, Norm played the artist who made the famed "artist's rendering" of the Unabomber (with most of his features covered by sunglasses and a hoodie), a cranky elderly man who has to nail X's and O's to a "Tic Tac Toe" game show board when the board's mechanisms stop working, a hood who displays astonishment when his fellow gangmembers break out into "West Side Story" theatrics, the host of the game show "Who's More Grizzled?!", and a man waking from a coma and wanting to sleep with the attractive woman who's visiting him in the hospital, even though the doctor keeps telling him that she is his sister. Norm's also performed some well-liked impressions, most notably Burt Reynolds (or, if you prefer, Turd Ferguson), David Letterman, Clint Eastwood, Larry King, Bob Dole, and Quentin Tarantino. Lastly, Norm was the anchor of Weekend Update, AKA The Fake News, where he would tape-record notes to himself and make many, many references to Frank Stallone, the Germans and their love of David Hasselhoff, and OJ Simpson's famous murder trial.
Norm's off-SNL work includes the Adam Sandler comedy Billy Madison, starring in Dirty Work with Chevy Chase and Chris Farley, the film Screwed with Five-Timer Danny DeVito, cameos in The Animal and the Deuce Bigalow movies with Rob Schneider, the pilot for his own sketch comedy show Back to Norm, also with Schneider, the Dr. Dolittle movies with Eddie Murphy, and his comedy album Ridiculous, featuring Will Ferrell, Jon Lovitz, Molly Shannon, and Tim Meadows.
