During a scientific trip to further study the effects of life beyond death, Dr. Herbert West comes across a man that tells him he has an item that can unlock secrets that West has never dreamed of.
As Dr. West takes the cube to his hotel room and starts fiddling with it in wonderment of how this is supposed to help him, strange things start happening to the room. As the the wall opens like a sliding door, three figures walk out and proclaim to Dr. West that he will know more expiraments than he bargained for.

But wait what's this! Dr. West was expecting a colleuge and just then Dr. Phibes walks into the room!
Who will survive this battle!? Will Phibes and West continue their expiraments and learn more than ever, or will the cenobites teach them a lesson they'll never forget?
